1001 McKinney Selected as Houston Business Journal Landmark Award Finalist

1001 McKinney St., the first building in Houston to be built post WWII, is a 2016 Houston Business Journal Landmark Award Finalist in the Historic Renovation category. The building was renovated by Principal Ken Harry just prior to joining Abel Design Group.

1001 McKinney will be one of the stops on a two-hour architecture walking tour conducted by Celeste Williams, Abel Design Group (ADG) Senior Associate and Art Deco architecture expert, on
 Saturday, March 12 and Saturday, April 16 in downtown Houston. The tour is in conjunction with the Museum of Fine Arts Sculpted in Steel exhibit.
