“One of Houston’s fastest-growing companies is taking its savvy design offerings to another Lone Star State metro…Houston-based Abel Design Group will open an office in Austin this fall, an Abel Design spokesperson told the Houston Business Journal. This office won’t affect the Houston office, which will remain open. This is Abel Design’s first expansion out of Houston. The company hopes to launch the Austin office with between four and five employees, with plans to have 20 employees there in about a year, the spokesperson said. Company executives are looking at office space in downtown Austin, and are eyeing a property on Congress Avenue, but nothing is concrete.”
