On November 6, 2019,  The Allen development held an official groundbreaking ceremony for the $500 million mixed-use development comprising six acres of prime Houston real estate. The project includes The Allen Hotel Condo Tower. Levels 1-14 of The Allen Hotel Condo Tower will include 170 premier hotel rooms by Award Winning Thompson Hotels by Hyatt Corporation, and Levels 15-34 will include the luxury condominiums.

Abel Design Group was selected to design the interiors of the luxury condominiums and the 170 premier Thompson Hotel rooms.
