Abel Design Group Austin Associate I, Carly Szabo, earned her NCIDQ Certification at the end of 2020. Carly is an interior designer with a passion for problem-solving and an aptitude for detail. Carly is experienced in test fits, finish selections, space planning, construction documents, and project management. Prior to working at Abel Design Group, Carly studied at Texas State University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Interior Design with a minor in Business and spent the first four years of her career in Austin developing her corporate design skills. She believes in the importance of client relationships and understanding the impact architecture has on the human experience. She believes in taking a purposeful approach to creative spaces centered around function, wellness and innovation.
