Abel Design Group completed the architecture and interiors for the Rush Tower, the most recent addition to The Golden Nugget Lake Charles complex wholly owned by Landry's, Inc. Designed to allow The Golden Nugget to keep up with increasing demand, the new $100 million 14-story tower contains 353 guest rooms, including 4 luxury villas with outdoor patios.

The design team collaborated with the owner to produce a concept that was cohesive with the two existing structures within the complex. Additionally, the Rush Tower was designed on a tight schedule - it needed to be completed and open by Memorial Day weekend to accommodate the influx of guests at the outset of the busy summer season.
