On January 3, 2017, Houston-based Abel Design Group opened its third office, located in Denver, Colorado, on the heels of celebrating the company’s 15th anniversary in December, and opening a second office location in Austin in September.
“We have built a scalable, boutique service model which allows us to support strong relationships and interactions with our clients, while offering them the speed and innovative design solutions they need. The goal is to take that model nationwide – even worldwide – providing premier service locally, while capitalizing on the firm’s overall expertise,” stated Jeffrey Abel, Abel Design Group managing principal.
The Denver office is currently located in temporary WeWork space, but will move into downtown Denver in the coming months.
Abel Design Group’s Denver office is headed by Laura Swank, formerly of Denver-based Box Studios. The team has hit the ground running and is already working on several local projects. By the end of 2017, Denver should have a six-person team in place, with support from Abel Design Group’s other offices.
