HOUSTON, TX – November 2, 2020 –
Abel Design Group staff volunteered with the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) Houston Chapter for their annual Project Pipeline event. The 2020 event was hosted at Prairie View A&M University and held virtually for the first time. Project Pipeline is “a camp with a focus on students that would introduce them to architecture with the ultimate goal of creating more licensed black and minority architects. The first camp was held in 2006 in Cincinnati by the the SW Ohio NOMA Chapter. Since then over twenty camps, in twenty cities have been held”.
