Golden Nugget - Retail Shops

Wholly owned by Landry’s Inc., the newly built Golden Nugget Casino and Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana had many areas set aside exclusively for commercial retail use. For this project, the goal was to transform the raw commercial space into 11 unique businesses that included boutiques of many varieties, such as a chocolatier, a video arcade, and a hair salon.

While a few of the stores stood independently, scattered throughout the casino, several stores were grouped together, interconnected so that customers could pass through easily and shop from one store to the next. Each establishment was still self-contained, however, possessing the ability to open and close as needed.
