Terra, the coffee kiosk, was envisioned as an amenity for tenants and guests of 1415 Louisiana and a hub of interaction. Strategically located by an entry point to the building, the kiosk also invites passersby to take a coffee break. To create a cohesive design, the key materials and lighting design were borrowed from the previous renovation of the lobby. The Terra coffee kiosk is one of several additions to 1415 Louisiana.
Formerly known as Wedge Tower, 1415 Louisiana is an iconic Downtown Houston building that has undergone a complete transformation. A building repositioning was necessary for the building to remain competitive in the downtown commercial office leasing market. Abel Design Group redesigned the building lobby, designed the new fitness center, and Strato 550, a restaurant and conference center. All public-facing and community areas of 1415 Louisiana have now been renovated or reinvented by Abel Design Group.
