Mastro's Manhattan

Wholly owned by Landry’s Inc., Mastro’s is a collection of upscale steak and seafood restaurants located across the country. Abel Design Group was selected for the design and the interior architecture goal of this project was for the Abel Design Group (ADG) team to transform an existing lease space into a new Manhattan location. The ADG team selected the interior finishes for the new 9,273 SF restaurant. The design team blended modern materials with warm accents to give the restaurant a flair distinct from counterparts in Malibu, Houston, and Chicago. To create the level of sophistication needed for this brand, as well as to match the energy of the city in which the restaurant is located, every finish needs to be carefully edited throughout the dining experience. Particular attention is paid to the ceiling, ceiling height, and the light fixtures selected for each area. The bar is also a focal point of the design and doubles as additional dining space.
